“Girls Wear Hats”. My newest illustration of the Follicle Girls. It’s almost done. I thought I’d pass the time today by drawing and doing laundry. My mother and sisters come into town tomorrow. It’s going to be nice to see them, though I just did a month ago.
I don’t know what I’m more excited about, seeing my family or finally getting my camera charger back! No more pictures via BlackBerry...

To kill some time today, I ventured over to Barnes & Noble, one of my favorite places on Earth, and by doing so I crossed paths with one of my favorite design books (which I have yet to buy). It’s called “Over And Over” and it’s a bunch of hand made prints from artists all over the world. I got really inspired off this shit, as I always do.

Thank God for Alexander for leaving his box of studs here. It only took 16 of those bad boys to transform this dressy version of a camp shirt into something a bit more edgy. I like subtle changes.

○◙ Grand Appearance At Grand Central
So with the Felix Da Housecat performance coming up later tonight, I’m contemplating between patent leather ballet leggings or something else. This will be my first time at the new venue Grand Central, so I plan on knocking people dead with my theatrical Marie Antoinette inspired curled and powdered bouffant, alongside a pair of wickedly drawn eyebrows.

So reaching out to an influential and legitimate crowd and or individual is how networking really works, right? I emailed paper-doll.com and expressed my interest in working with them.
Luckily they emailed back and told me they wanted to feature me as part of their artist project and as the “Featured Photographer”. I’m on my way!
